Michael Southworth
Michael Southworth has been an innovator of grassroots development of new companies and products for the past 23 years. Michael has direct experience in structuring companies, analyzing business opportunities, raising business capital, and taking companies public. In the fall of 2007, Michael launched an innovative investor information service called The Investors Registry, which allows accredited investors an opportunity to obtain priority positioning on prescreened entrepreneurial activities with pre-IPO timing. Michael has spent the past several years preparing a highly qualified team to facilitate and support these selected investment opportunities.
FINRA member Broker Dealers
Monarch Bay Associates (MBA) is an investment banking firm specializing in enhancing the value of emerging growth companies. David Walters and Keith Moore, principals and co-founders, have been FINRA member broker dealers since 2006. Monarch Bay targets companies with revenue of $5 million to $250 million and proactively seeks to improve client companies’ capital structure, valuation services, and strategic direction. Founded in 2006, Monarch Bay’s executive team has collectively participated in over $3 billion in capital transactions, managed over 120 public offerings, and provided research to over 200 public companies.

The Lebrecht Group (TLG), founded in 2001, represents private and public companies from formation through exit strategy; specializes in the fields of corporate and securities law, merger & acquisitions, private & public company financing transactions.
Brian Lebrecht practiced corporate and securities law for five years with the Cutler Law Group. He was the proprietor of The Law Offices of Brian A. Lebrecht in San Diego, California, focusing on business transactions, formations, and acquisitions as well as estate planning. Brian’s past experiences include a position in the legal department of the Federal Home Loan Mortgage Corporation (Freddie Mac) in Washington, D.C., the General Counsel’s office of a major Southern California construction supplier, and representation of consumers interests before the California State Contractors License Board and the California State Banking Department, culminating in published works in the California Regulatory Law Reporter.
He has served as a member of the Corporations Committee of the Business Law Section of the State Bar of California, as a member of the National Republican Congressional Committee Business Advisory Council, as an adjunct professor of Business Law at the University of California (San Diego extension), the Service Corps of Retired Executives (SCORE) and the greater San Diego Chamber of Commerce Small Business Development Center (SBDC).
Brian graduated from the University of San Diego with a Bachelor in Business Administration in 1991, and a J.D. and M.B.A. in 1995. He is licensed to practice law in the States of California & Utah and the U.S. District Courts for the Southern & Central Districts of California as well as the District of Utah. Brian currently serves as an officer of the Securities Section of the Utah State Bar.

Jerry L. Mills, CPA
Jerry L. Mills, CPA, is the Founder & CEO of B2B CFO®. He founded the company in 1987.
In addition to his role as Founder and CEO, Mills is also a partner in B2B CFO®. In this capacity he serves as the B2B CFO® of clients with combined annual sales of approximately $150 million. As a seasoned senior level executive he has been the CFO and business advisor to clients in numerous industries, including software development, retail, construction, service, medical, orthodontics, legal, manufacturing, automobile training, corporate event; entertainment staging, technology, automobile transportation, and entertainment.
Prior to founding B2B CFO®, Mills was a manager at a «Big Eight» CPA firm, Arthur Andersen & Co. (AA&Co.) in the firm’s Small Business Division. His duties included planning, managing and supervising audits and general business planning for AA&Co. clients.
He is the author of The Danger Zone, Lost in the Growth Transition, and Avoiding The Danger Zone, Business Illusions, business non-fiction books (see the Publications tab on the top of this website). The first edition of the book was released in June of 2006. As the author of the book Mills accomplished his goal of communicating to the owners of closely-held businesses some of the fundamental business issues they need to know how to succeed.

He graduated with an accounting degree from Arizona State University in 1978.
He is married, has four children and two grandchildren.

Ben Lonsdale
Ben Lonsdale has worked in private funding and development for over six years. He served as Chairman of The Utah Entrepreneur Center, raising capital and funding small start-up companies from universities in the state of Utah. As an independent consultant, Ben has been successful in helping individual companies get first and second rounds of funding. He also has served as Investor Relations for funds with Park City and Salt Lake City. Currently, he is V.P. of the Alumni Association for The Waterford School. Ben graduated from the University of Utah with a degree in Business and Behavioral Science.

The Business Catapult
The Business Catapult (TBC) has partnered with The Investors Registry to increase deal flow and prescreening capacity for potential opportunities. TBC does this with an effective and succinct due diligence analysis: using a powerful technology to standardize assessment of business design known as the Benchmark Survey (developed by the Entrepreneurial Standards Forum). The Benchmark Survey measures business concepts against standards defined by other companies that have achieved entrepreneurial success.
